What is corporate relocation and how does it differ from a regular move?+
Corporate relocation is a company-paid moving service, usually managed by HR or a relocation vendor. The main differences: the company (not the employee) pays the bill, there's typically a dedicated coordinator on the moving-company side, volume pricing applies, and reporting/compliance requirements are higher. The move itself is the same physical service - just wrapped in more paperwork and coordination.
What volume triggers corporate pricing?+
Companies with 5+ employee moves per year qualify for our corporate rate structure. That includes any mix of local moves, long-distance moves, and executive relocations. For companies with 20+ moves per year, we can also offer a dedicated account team and custom SLAs.
Do you handle relocations through vendors like Cartus, SIRVA, or BGRS?+
Yes. We are an approved-vendor for several national relocation management companies (RMCs) and can accept referred moves from Cartus, SIRVA, Weichert, BGRS, and similar. If your company uses an RMC, tell us who they are and we'll coordinate directly.
Can you handle a new-hire relocation before their start date?+
Yes - this is one of the most common corporate use cases. We work directly with the new hire on scheduling, communicate updates back to your HR team, and can invoice under the corporate account. Just have HR send us the employee's contact info once the move is authorized.
What paperwork do you provide for corporate procurement?+
W-9, Certificate of Insurance (customized to your requirements), business license, US DOT registration for interstate moves, references from other corporate clients, and any vendor-onboarding forms your procurement team needs. Send us your vendor-setup checklist and we'll fill it out.
Do you offer relocation packages that include storage?+
Storage isn't our primary business - we're a moving company. But we partner with local KC storage facilities and can coordinate storage-in-transit for employee moves if the employee's new home isn't ready. Priced separately.
How is billing handled?+
Corporate accounts are billed directly on Net 30 terms. Employees don't see a bill. We can send monthly consolidated invoices with per-employee cost breakdowns, or invoice per-move as they complete - whichever your AP team prefers.
What if a relocated employee is dissatisfied?+
Every move includes a post-move survey. If an employee reports any issue, we address it directly and report the outcome back to your HR team within 48 hours. Our repeat corporate business depends on employee satisfaction, so we take this seriously.
