Why Our Customers Call Us 'Affordable'
Affordable doesn't mean cheap - it means fair. We charge a clear hourly rate, work efficiently, and skip the made-up fees that other moving companies sneak onto your bill.
No Fuel Surcharges
Most moving companies add 5-15% for fuel. We don't. Your hourly rate is your only rate.
No Truck or Equipment Fees
Dollies, blankets, straps, shrink wrap, wardrobe boxes for hanging clothes - all included. No 'travel fee', no 'truck rental fee'.
You Only Pay for Time Worked
If your move is faster than estimated, you pay less. Past the 3-hour minimum, we bill by the quarter-hour, not by full hours.
Right-Sized Crews
We size the crew to your move so you are not paying extra movers to stand around. Smaller home? Smaller crew, lower hourly total.
Transparent Up-Front
Every quote shows hourly rate, expected hour range, add-ons, and tax (if any). No 'surprise' charges on move day - ever.
Licensed and Insured
Affordable doesn't mean cutting corners on insurance, licensing, or background checks. We are fully licensed and insured.
Real Pricing - No Surprises
We charge by the hour and tell you the rate up front. Most jobs finish faster with a bigger crew, so the total often ends up similar either way.

Affordable Moving FAQs - Kansas City
Are you really the most affordable movers in Kansas City?+
We are honest about pricing. Some companies advertise lower hourly rates then tack on fuel surcharges, truck fees, equipment fees, and stair fees that double the bill. Our final total is usually lower because we don't play those games. Compare the all-in total, not the headline rate.
What is the cheapest way to move in Kansas City?+
For most apartments and small homes: book a 2-mover crew, pack your boxes yourself, be ready when we arrive, and have clear paths from rooms to the truck. That keeps the clock at the minimum or slightly above. A 3-hour move is $450.
Is there a minimum charge?+
Yes. Every job has a 3-hour minimum. Even a small studio or single-item move is billed at the 3-hour minimum ($450 base) before any add-ons. We can't dispatch a truck and crew for less than that and stay in business.
Can I get a discount?+
Honest answer: we don't run gimmicky discounts that we just bake into a higher base rate. Our rate is already competitive. We do offer fair pricing on multi-day jobs, weekday moves, and military/senior moves - just ask when you call.
Do you accept credit cards or only cash?+
We accept all major credit cards, debit, Zelle, and cash. No card processing fee added to your bill.
Will I get charged extra for stairs or parking?+
Multiple flights of stairs with no elevator may add a small fee depending on inventory. Parking is rarely an issue but if your building requires a long carry distance to the truck, that gets added to the hours (which you would pay for anyway). All disclosed before we start.
